Here, you will find comprehensive examples of my environmental concept pieces utilizing tools such as Blender, Unreal Engine 5, and Photoshop.

Concept Art
"THE GATES"
UE5 concept environment - quick paint-over with photo-bashed waterfalls. I wanted to explore the idea of two tectonic plates be utilized as a sort of gateway - quick project, but fun! After exploring different lighting and atmospheric explorations, I pulled my favorite into Photoshop where I did a quick paintover and added some texture/water.

Environment Concept:
UE5 Concept Art - this was my first piece utilizing water. I enjoyed playing with the lighting/fog density to bring a "larger than life" sense of scale to the environment.

Once I was happy with the composition and lighting, I pulled the final render into Photoshop where I added birds and changed the clouds to better fit the scene.
ENVIRONMENT

Ritualistic Tomb - Concept Environment
Blender environment concept art - I have been self-learning multiple new programs over the last semester. As much as a learning curve it's proven to be as a 2D Illustration student, the payoff is worth it for my artistic growth!

The concept was this massive ritualistic tomb space, barren and forsaken. Every object was painted in 3D substance painter and basic UV mapping! I wanted the space to expand upon itself and feel massive yet minimalistic.

Environment Concept:
Photoshop - photo bashed environment concept

Environment Concept:
UE5 concept environment - for this piece, I wanted to take a different approach than my regular work. When I approach any environment piece I always think about the lighting upfront, the impact that it has on a scene, and how to dramatize it. However, for this piece, I wanted to re-approach that view, and create a more haunting, dramatic environment with a lack of direct light!

"THE SPREAD"
Environment concept art made in Photoshop using different techniques.
I wanted to explore this idea of an abandoned shipyard in post-apocalyptic America, where much of the environment suffers from unexplained rust - and tar.

"RED"
Environment concept art made in Photoshop using different techniques.
For this piece, I wanted to challenge myself with lighting/environment, and how those two can enhance a scene.
